Time flies, I just enrolled to Stellaire International yesterday and I have many things on my mind that I would like to say.

First of all, I would like to thank my parents. Thank you for all the sacrifices you made to provide for me. Thank you for waking me up every morning at 6 o’clock when my exam starts at 11. I believe that my dad and my mom are the contributing factor in everything I’ve achieved today. When the world closed its doors on me, you both opened your arms. Thanks for always being there for me.

Moreover, I would like to share my experiences in joining all the activities in Stellaire International. I was actually involved in many activities in the school and one position I like the most was being the previous president in line for the student council. I learned how to organise events. All this really helped me to enhance my verbal and written communication skills.

Today, with the good results I have achieved in my trial exam, which is 7As, and active participation in extracurricular activities, I was offered scholarships from 3 different colleges- Sunway college, Taylors College and UCSI college. Therefore, I hereby strongly encourage all my fellow juniors to participate in every activity organised by the school and to be involved in ECA. Your hard work and involvement in school activities will definitely help you to gain invaluable experiences which will prepare you for a bright future, and Stellaire International is the stairs leading to success..

And finally to my juniors, each and every one of you has the right to live your life to the fullest, so go out and be the best.

First of all, I’d like to take this opportunity on this stage to thank Stellaire’s management team, Ms. Alicia and teachers. Ms Alicia, thank you for assisting me with my scholarship application and for your constant guidance throughout my journey here in Stellaire. To my beloved teachers- Mr.

Foong, Dr. Catherine, Ms. Jessica and Ms. Pat, thank you for being my biggest support in my studies. I could never envision my life in Stellaire without your wisdom. My backbone, my family, you have played a major role in my life that contributed to the success I have achieved today. You have nurtured me, physically and mentally to be the person I am today.

Thanks to Stellaire International, my results skyrocketed. I managed to get 9As in my IGCSE examinations 2019 (3A* and 6A in my latest examinations). With these results, I was able to obtain an A-level scholarship from Sunway College to further my studies. Last year, I was also a class mentor for my classmates for the English, ICT, Business, Biology, and Chemistry. Besides that, I also designed a poster for Stellaire’s Science Art and Music Fair last year, which was used to promote the annual event.

I would also like to give a small piece of advice to my juniors and future graduates: Actively participate in school activities. Your achievements and involvement in these programs will definitely be a sweet addition when you are applying to a college in the future.

Besides that, I made friendships that will last beyond the doors of Stellaire and I will treasure them till the end. Despite our differences, we still managed to come together as one. Often, we look outside for heroes, but I see them amongst us, sitting here in the audience. When we leave here today, party hard and celebrate what we’ve accomplished, and also look forward to the challenges ahead. Congratulations class of 2019! Thank you.
